This committee takes the lead on creating a strong foundation for a sustainable revitalization effort, including cultivating partnerships, community involvement, and resources for the district.

Below are some activities and ideas that we are looking for in our Outreach committee.

  • Build relationships with the City of Buckley, businesses, and other local organizations by seeking opportunities to meet needs that align with our mission.

  • Fundraising

  • Research alternative funding sources, both private and public sectors. Compile a list of grants that pertain to community & economic development.

  • Establish a space and place for art & build a community space for artists and community to gather, sell, share or create art.

  • Building a network with local lending institutions.

  • Volunteer engagement & management.

  • Create a community newsletter that promotes downtown Buckley and can be used as a social media tool to share about local news, upcoming events & activities, as well as help meet needs.
